Provider privacy
SignalWorks Labs Inc., a British Columbia corporation, is the provider, data controller, and contracting party for OnCourt.
Your TV service is yours. OnCourt does not sell channels or provide streams. Use only a service you are entitled to access.
What stays on your devices
Your devices use provider logins, playlist contents, downloaded guide files, and fresh playback URLs locally. The app does not upload those files or cleartext logins to our backend to fetch or play your service. Video plays directly from your provider. Your provider receives direct requests when your device downloads its catalogue or plays content.
How your devices share setup
OnCourt can encrypt provider setup secrets for another trusted device on your account. Our backend relays and stores this encrypted envelope. It cannot read its contents because the private decryption keys stay on your devices. A playlist URL may be part of encrypted setup; the playlist’s contents are not uploaded to our backend.
What is synced separately
To keep your devices in sync, your account also stores some names from your provider and guide in readable form: the name you gave each provider, the names and IDs of channels you have saved, taught, chosen, or recently played, channel category names, and programme titles and times for games OnCourt has prepared (these expire within 36 hours). This data travels over encrypted connections and is deleted with your account. Prepared links identify channels; they never include a playable stream link. The receiving device uses its own provider access to get a fresh link. The Privacy Policy has the full list.
Guide matching
Guide matching runs on your device. Your playlist and guide files are not uploaded to our servers or sent to any outside AI service.
Getting help safely
